Class reservations must be made online and cancelled at least 12 hours in advance of class time. Cancellations occurring in our 12 hour cancellation window or no-shows will forfeit that class. Privates and Semi-Private sessions must be cancelled directly with the instructor 24 hours before the session or a $40 late fee will be charged. Due to our small studio size, our cancellation policies are strictly enforced.
All money paid in advance to The Pilates Shoppe is non-refundable.

Group classes consist of 2 or more clients. We reserve the right to cancel a group class if it does not form, however, we will always do our best to accommodate our clients.
-Clients more than 10 minutes late to class will be turned away.
-Grip socks or bare feet are acceptable, no non-grip socks please.
-Please silence and put away your cell phones.
How long are all the classes?
All of the classes are approximately 60 minutes in length.
How many are in the group classes?
Our classes are small, 7 people or less, which allows us to give you more personal attention.
How many times a week should I be taking classes?
Depending on your fitness goals, 2 to 3 times per week is usually encouraged.
Do I need to take Pilates privates before joining groups?
We do not require privates before joining groups but it’s a great idea! Our $300 intro package consisting of 3 private sessions and 5 classes is a great way to start. If you feel confident to jump into a class and give it a try, please start with our Reformer Essentials Beginner/Intermediate level class and the instructor can help recommend the correct class level.
Do I need to be in great shape or familiar with Pilates to be able to take classes?
No. All of our classes can be customized to whatever your fitness level may be, and if you are newer to exercising or have any physical limitations, our instructors can safely guide you through the workouts, making any necessary modifications. If you are in great shape and really want to be challenged by your workouts our instructors can definitely push your body to the limit in our reformer challenge classes.
What are the benefits of the different class styles you offer?
• Improve strength, flexibility and coordination
• Engage the mind and enhance body awareness
• Reduce stress, relieve tension, and boost energy through deep stretching
• Offer relief from back pain and joint stress
• Enhance mobility, agility and stamina
• Compliment sports training (including dancers, gymnasts, figure skaters, tennis players, football players, golfers, surfers, etc.)
• Improve the way your body looks and feels
Can I take all Pilates classes while pregnant?
Yes. If you have checked with your doctor and been cleared to exercise, Pilates is a great and safe workout through your entire pregnancy, which helps to keep both you and the baby healthy and happy. We recommend private training unless you have already been doing Pilates with us prior to pregnancy.
