For best results 2 to 3 times per week is encouraged, keeping in mind that in the beginning, it is recommended that you give your body a few days rest in between workouts.
Do I need to take Pilates privates before joining groups?
This is a personal choice. Fitness level and body awareness are factors, however it truly depends on how comfortable the you are on the reformer. Some people prefer to take a few privates in the beginning to get acclimated with the exercises and reformer while others are ready to jump right into groups after their Introductory New Client Private, and some prefer to skip the private and go directly into group classes. We do recommend that if you have an injury that may limit you that you start with a few privates so that you can learn the appropriate modifications to be made during a group class.
